About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Credentialing team
- Manage documentation and process compliance and verification tasks
- Assist with maintaining pending and/or active Clinician files
- Maintain CE Direct accounts and set up Clinician accounts as needed
- Enter, process, and renew National Practitioner Data Bank registrations
- Assist Clinicians with completing I-9 forms and visually inspect supporting documents
- Complete E-Verify for new hires and reverification for rehires
- Monitor expiring lists and provide daily status updates
- Escalate at-risk items that may impact Clinician assignments
- Provide weekly reporting of expiring compliance items
- Manage and collect compliance requirements due for renewal
- Review state rosters monthly and remove Clinicians as needed
- Complete IDFPR monthly reporting
- Enter and maintain Clinicians in E-notify/Nursys roster
- Complete SSN verifications via SSA as needed
- Review and process reimbursements according to guidelines
- Participate in 1+ cross-training sessions per year
- Float to various business lines depending on business needs
- Work closely with Credentialing team, Clients, and Clinicians
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced and complex environment, maintaining a sense of urgency
- Excellent customer service skills, required
- Suitable combination of education, training, and experience accepted
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with occupational health Comp preferred
