About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and evolve Simpro's design system and component library
Define UX guidelines, principles, and governance frameworks
Lead usability testing, discovery interviews, and insight synthesis
Translate research findings into product direction
Partner with product and engineering on complex cross-product features
Facilitate trade-off conversations and drive agreed solutions while advocating for users
Prototype and validate concepts rapidly
Coach and mentor designers on best practices in the AI era
Take concepts from wireframe through polished, production-ready design and into code when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of UX/UI design experience
Meaningful experience in B2B, B2C, or SaaS
Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking
Hands-on experience with AI design and prototyping tools such as v0, Cursor, Figma AI, Claude, or similar
Experience recruiting, facilitating, and synthesizing user research
Solid HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication
