About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own design decisions end to end within assigned product areas, from problem framing through hand-off
- Collaborate with product, design and development teams to understand existing functionality and establish new concepts
- Create user workflows, wireframes and other design artifacts
- Create high-fidelity screens and prototypes in Figma using the design system
- Document logic and edge cases and communicate design intent to remote developers
- Maintain design intent through development and perform design QA before release
- Conduct evaluative user research and usability testing as needed
- Advocate for human-centered design throughout the organization
- Align work with the team's Hedgehog Concept and contribute updates in weekly design team meetings
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams across APAC, EMEA and North America
- Contribute new patterns and documentation to the design system
- Support product metrics including activation, conversion, task completion and support-contact reduction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience working as a Product Designer
- Product design experience at a SaaS company
- Experience with CRM/ERP products or messaging software
- At least 3 years designing digital products, including time owning a product area end to end
- Portfolio showing both user research and UI execution
- Track record of shipping features for web applications through development
- Experience running evaluative research and usability testing
- Experience working in an agile team with Product Managers and Engineers
- Experience working across time zones in a distributed team
- Proficient with Figma
- Comfortable using Jira and Confluence
- Sound knowledge of front end development technologies
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- Strong written communication for an async, globally distributed team
- Ability to facilitate workshops, critique and stakeholder sessions
- Experience using AI tooling for research synthesis and day-to-day design workflow
- Qualified in UX, Graphic Design or Industrial Design, or equivalent practical experience evidenced by a portfolio
