About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Applications portfolio strategy for Sinch Engage, SimpleTexting, Mailjet, Engage APIs, and related capabilities
  • Define product vision, priorities, investment choices, and operating rhythm
  • Lead and develop high-performing product and engineering teams
  • Own portfolio performance, including revenue growth, gross profit, margin, pricing and packaging, adoption, retention, and product-led growth metrics
  • Improve product experiences for campaigns, conversations, workflows, rich messaging, measurement, and customer growth
  • Build product-led and self-service foundations for SMB and mid-market customers
  • Strengthen sales-assisted and enterprise expansion motions and clarify Sales handoffs
  • Connect Applications with Sinch’s global scale, reliability, compliance, data, developer, and communications capabilities
  • Strengthen packaging, cross-sell, customer entry points, onboarding, expansion, and integration with customer business systems
  • Simplify and modernize the portfolio, customer experience, product architecture, and go-to-market model
  • Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and regional teams on positioning, conversion, pipeline contribution, and growth
  • Establish operating metrics across acquisition, activation, conversion, usage, retention, expansion, satisfaction, reliability, and unit economics
  • Ensure architecture, engineering practices, security, reliability, compliance, and operations support global growth
  • Report to the Sinch CEO

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience across product management, engineering leadership, and business leadership, including meaningful time in senior executive roles
  • Experience leading both product and engineering teams, with accountability for product delivery from strategy through execution and operations
  • Track record scaling SaaS products and managing complex portfolios across multiple brands, customer segments, and go-to-market motions
  • Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership, pricing and packaging, gross margin improvement, and portfolio investment decisions
  • Experience with self-service SaaS, product-led growth, and enterprise sales motions
  • Deep customer orientation and experience with user experience, onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion
  • Excellent executive communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead distributed, global teams through change
  • Background in CPaaS, customer engagement, marketing automation, email, messaging, or adjacent SaaS markets is nice to have but not required
  • Experience leading branded portfolios through integration, modernization, or consolidation is nice to have but not required
  • Experience with AI-enabled customer engagement, automation, personalization, or analytics products is nice to have but not required
  • MBA or equivalent business leadership experience is nice to have but not required
