About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape SingleStore's AI infrastructure strategy and accelerate strategic partnerships and customer adoption
Develop technical relationships and joint opportunities with AI platforms, ISVs, infrastructure partners, sovereign cloud providers, and neocloud providers
Build trusted relationships with partner and customer CTOs, architects, engineering leaders, and AI infrastructure teams
Establish technical alignment, define joint value propositions, and develop integration, validation, and go-to-market plans
Partner with sales and technical teams on strategic opportunities, leading architecture discussions, technical workshops, proofs of value, and executive presentations
Guide production AI infrastructure designs for inference, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows
Address compute, storage, networking, data access, orchestration, security, reliability, and cost in infrastructure designs
Translate customer and partner needs into product requirements and roadmap priorities
Collaborate with marketing on positioning, solution narratives, reference architectures, presentations, and thought leadership
Equip field and partner teams with technical guidance, validated architectures, and deployment patterns
Represent SingleStore as an executive technical spokesperson at partner events, industry conferences, customer briefings, and technical forums
Success measured through validated partnerships, qualified pipeline, technical wins, production deployments, product priorities, reference architectures, field enablement, and market messaging

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience in senior technical leadership roles, such as Field CTO, Chief Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or an equivalent customer-facing position
Demonstrated experience taking AI workloads from experimentation into production
Strong understanding of inference and agentic AI infrastructure requirements
Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including accelerated computing, storage and data platforms, networking, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
Ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks and explain tradeoffs among latency, throughput, resilience, scalability, and cost
Experience building technical partnerships with AI platforms, ISVs, infrastructure vendors, or cloud providers
Understanding of sovereign cloud requirements, including data residency, deployment control, security, and operational autonomy
Proven ability to influence product and engineering priorities through customer and partner insight
Strong executive communication skills, connecting technical architecture to business outcomes
Willingness to travel internationally for strategic partner and customer engagements
