About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the roadmap, priorities, and accountable outcomes for a product area
- Build direct relationships with radiologists, technologists, and administrators to discover problems
- Translate user discoveries into prioritized requirements
- Identify overlooked workflow friction
- Write product requirements and partner with design and engineering from problem definition through launch and adoption
- Work closely with engineering to understand product functionality and breakdowns
- Drive prioritization, evaluate tradeoffs, and manage scope
- Partner with clinical, quality, and regulatory colleagues to ship safely in a regulated clinical environment
- Coordinate with other PMs to maintain platform coherence and share customer insights
- Define success metrics and measure the impact of shipped work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two to four years of experience in product management, engineering, consulting, analytical, or customer-facing roles
- Demonstrated ability to turn observed user problems into clear software requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Sound prioritization instincts and the ability to make a decision with incomplete information
- Comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action over waiting for direction
- A collaborative working style
- Willingness to get into the details of a genuinely complex application
- Genuine interest in healthcare and clinical workflows
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in radiology, medical imaging, or another clinically demanding software domain (preferred)
- Exposure to healthcare data and integration standards such as DICOM, HL7, or FHIR (preferred)
- Experience building for expert users in high-volume, time-pressured environments (preferred)
- Prior experience in QA, technical support, solutions engineering, or implementation on a complex application (preferred)
- Experience working in a regulated healthcare or medical device environment (preferred)
