About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with Business Development globally across Europe, Asia and the Americas on pricing opportunities
Develop economic models to help win business for Sirva
Gather data and perform financial analysis related to pricing
Provide pricing for new client pursuits and existing client contract renewals
Manage and report on pricing activities
Lead pricing strategy, pricing analysis and pricing support
Analyze client cost trends, move patterns and relocation policies to establish strategic pricing directions
Maintain, modify and enhance pricing comparison models
Work directly with Sales SVPs on pricing bids and pipeline opportunities
Analyze competitor pricing and product design
Use margin pricing and cost analysis to improve corporate revenue
Counsel sales and directors on presenting pricing proposals
Gather and analyze data and conduct product performance and price reviews
Convert ambiguous requests into actionable tasks
Prepare special analyses supporting pricing and overall relocation strategy
Supervise Pricing Analyst roles in the Relocation function
Perform performance management and professional development activities for Pricing Analysts
Report directly to the Director of Pricing
Partner with sales, risk, supply chain, operations and finance teams to determine company profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Business Administration
Minimum 7 years related work experience
Minimum 7 years of experience specifically in the Relocation Finance area
Preferred experience in a supervisory role
Strong technical skills such as SQL, VB, Excel expertise, particularly data manipulation and pivot tables
Experience with Business Intelligence tools or other technical programs
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience working in a matrixed environment
Strong analytic skills linking financial results to operational performance drivers
Project or process-improvement leadership within operations or finance
Excellent communication skills across multiple levels, functions and regions
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly, verbally and in writing
Adaptability and flexibility in ambiguous situations
High integrity and adherence to ethical values
Confidence and assertiveness when approaching business leaders and defending positions
Relocation industry experience is required
Must be located in the United States, preferably in the EST or CST time zones
