About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete commercial valuations on all major property types
- Work on institutional properties located across the U.S.
- Assist national clients, including financial institutions, pension funds and insurance companies, with portfolio work
- Work closely with VPs in completing valuation processes
- Perform valuations with a future career path to lead a team of valuation professionals
- Provide guidance and quality control
- Manage workflow and direct reports to produce on-time deliveries
- Execute portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements
- Coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
- Research property and market information
- Inspect properties
- Analyze subject and comparable data
- Develop appraisal and consulting reports and other deliverables
- Resolve non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication
- Work independently on projects and collaborate face to face as a team player
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree preferred fields of study include Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or external equivalent
- Intermediate understanding of Commercial Real Estate and Finance
- Basic understanding of the current real estate climate and market
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, self-motivated, and execute at a high level
- MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word
- Potentially work towards MAI
- Potentially work towards state licensing
