About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the strategy, tactics, performance, and outcomes of an assigned book of retail media accounts
  • Plan, build, optimize, and manage campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Target, and other retail media networks
  • Investigate performance issues and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to clients
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on media planning, budget allocation, and retail media best practices
  • Co-lead quarterly business reviews and strategic reviews with the direct manager
  • Build custom analyses, reports, and automations when standard tools and templates are insufficient
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to team playbooks and processes
  • Partner with product development, sales, technical account management, and sales engineers to drive platform innovation and capture market opportunities
  • Serve external clients and act as a regional retail media expert
  • Support internal stakeholders and help shape future platform development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on experience across Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Walmart Connect sponsored search, Vendor Central, Seller Central, and the 1P versus 3P distinction
  • Analytical depth, including root-cause analysis and tying metrics to client business objectives
  • Ability to translate ambiguous client goals into strategies, plans, and narratives
  • Ability to work credibly with analysts and executive budget owners
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, matrixed, cross-functional environments
  • Ownership and follow-through, taking problems to resolution
  • Strongly preferred: AMC experience, including custom audiences and analyses such as incrementality or multi-touch attribution
  • Retail media ecosystem fluency, including retailer economics, onsite, offsite, DSP, 1P and 3P, and shopper marketing
  • Advanced use of generative AI tools such as Claude
  • Breadth across retail media networks including Instacart, Target, Roundel Media Studio, Criteo, CitrusAd, Epsilon, Kroger Precision Marketing, and Amazon Retail Ad Service
  • Agency-side background preferred; strong candidates from brand, retailer, and platform sides welcomed
  • Familiarity with shopper marketing, trade budgets, and joint business planning with retailers
  • Experience with Skai or a comparable retail media or search management platform
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team
  • US-based
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%
