About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own strategy, performance, and outcomes for an assigned book of enterprise retail media accounts
- Plan, build, and optimise campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Target, and other retail media networks
- Manage campaigns day to day as account requirements dictate
- Investigate performance issues and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
- Advise senior client stakeholders on media planning, budget allocation, and retail media best practices
- Lead QBRs and strategic reviews
- Support renewals, growth conversations, and escalations
- Build custom analyses, reports, and automations
- Serve as the regional retail media subject matter expert
- Support internal stakeholders across the business
- Mentor less experienced colleagues
- Contribute to team playbooks and processes
- Partner with product development, sales, technical account management, and sales engineers on platform innovation and market opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enterprise retail media ownership, accountable for strategy through execution
- Full-stack Amazon and Walmart expertise across search and DSP
- Experience with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP, Walmart Connect sponsored search, and Walmart DSP
- Experience with Vendor Central, Seller Central, and 1P versus 3P distinctions
- Advanced Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) usage for custom audiences, analyses, incrementality, or multi-touch attribution
- Root-cause analysis and ability to connect metrics to business objectives
- Retail media ecosystem fluency, including retailer economics, onsite, offsite, DSP, 1P, 3P, and shopper marketing
- Advanced use of generative AI tools such as Claude for technical outputs
- Ability to translate ambiguous client goals into strategies, plans, and narratives
- Ability to work with stakeholders from analysts to executives
- Experience operating cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed environments
- Ownership, follow-through, and problem-solving
- US-based
- Ability to travel up to 10-15%
- Strongly preferred: breadth across Instacart, Target, Roundel Media Studio, Criteo, CitrusAd, Epsilon, Kroger Precision Marketing, or Amazon Retail Ad Service
- Strongly preferred: agency-side background, coaching or informal leadership, commercial exposure, total commerce context, Skai or comparable retail media/search management platform experience, and global-team collaboration
