About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze customer requirements during the pre-sales process and translate them into Azure-based managed service solutions using PaaS, IaaS, and container services
Design the operating model for new customer solutions together with service operations teams, including operational responsibilities, SLAs, level of automation, and interfaces
Create technical solution concepts, effort estimates, and operational assumptions for proposals and business cases
Participate in customer discussions and workshops, facilitate technical requirements, and present proposed solutions to decision-makers
Ensure a structured handover from pre-sales to delivery and operations
Contribute to the ongoing development of the managed services portfolio
Advise customers on the security, scalability, availability, and operating costs of their Azure environments in a managed services context

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience designing architectures with Azure PaaS, IaaS, and container services
Ideally, experience operating Azure environments
Experience translating customer requirements into technical architectures, operating models, and service concepts
Experience advising customers on Azure services, including functionality, security, scalability, and uptime
Familiarity with managed services, including SLAs, operational processes, service levels, automation, and ITSM
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, automated pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
Ability to lead technical pre-sales meetings and present solutions clearly and effectively
Understanding of the interfaces between sales, development, and operations
Fluent German
Confident communication skills in English
