About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage sales activities within the assigned territory or region and achieve sales growth, targets, and KPIs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients as the primary point of contact
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans within the territory
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill customer requirements and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate contracts and implement long-term growth strategies with clients
  • Coordinate activities leading to customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Generate customer leads into opportunities and document them in the CRM system
  • Prepare monthly management reports on new business achievements, activities, opportunities, and targets
  • Manage the sales opportunity funnel in CRM and aligned digital sales tools
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, legal and professional standards, and the SKF Code of Conduct
  • Promote risk and safety awareness and ensure compliance with SKF EHS policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, business development, or a related role within the industrial distribution sector
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the industrial distribution market and its dynamics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel 50% or as needed
  • Project management and sales funnel management skills
  • Office 365 skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power BI
  • Understanding of the specifications, applications, and benefits of seals and related products
  • Ability to demonstrate product benefits and technical details to customers
