About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities for the sales team
  • Cold call prospects for approximately 10–15 hours per week
  • Pitch Skill Struck's curriculum and software
  • Schedule follow-up meetings for Account Executives
  • Contact curriculum directors, instructional technology directors, and CTE directors at public school districts across the United States
  • Use HubSpot CRM and pre-built call lists
  • Connect a personal cell phone to HubSpot so prospects do not see the personal number
  • Learn and apply basic sales practices after onboarding
  • Ask questions and resolve roadblocks through Slack
  • Aim to book 10 meetings per month, or 2–3 per week
  • Occasionally attend internal meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must reside in Utah
  • Available to work approximately 10–15 hours per week (2–3 hours per day)
  • Reliable cell phone and internet access
  • Quiet work environment with no background noise
  • Comfortable and confident on the phone with cold prospects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Growth mindset and problem-solving ability
  • Desire to make an impact in the lives of underserved students
  • 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably B2B or EdTech (nice to have, not required)
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Outreach, or SalesLoft (nice to have, not required)
  • Experience in K–12 Education Technology (nice to have, not required)
