About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead an engineering organization of roughly 20 full-time engineers spanning the U.S. and the U.K.
Set delivery direction, operating rhythm, quality standards, and capacity allocation
Own engineering quality and reliability for customer-facing casino applications
Establish production readiness standards, observability, test automation strategy, and incident response
Partner with Product, Design, and TPM leadership to shape the roadmap and drive iterative delivery
Hire, develop, and coach engineering managers and senior individual contributors
Design organizational structure and talent strategy
Represent iCasino Experiences in cross-organization architecture, delivery, and people programs
Improve engineering practices, planning processes, and operational maturity
Resolve ambiguous cross-team problems
Travel occasionally to offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team-building

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of software engineering experience
4+ years leading engineering teams through managers
Proven ownership of consumer-facing product experiences at scale
Experience leading organizations building mobile products where speed, polish, and reliability are differentiators
Strong delivery leadership across multiple teams
Demonstrated ability to build and scale engineering organizations
Experience owning production reliability for customer-facing systems, including observability, on-call structures, incident management, and post-incident improvement
Strong technical judgment across modern client and backend architectures
Ability to lead distributed teams across time zones
Preferred: experience in online gaming or highly regulated industries, including certification and compliance processes
Preferred: experience leading high-end mobile applications and content management or personalization systems
Preferred: track record driving cross-organization initiatives
Preferred: startup or high-growth environment experience
