About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete and track ad hoc and state/regulatory reporting requests
- Build reports in Oracle HCM (OTBI) for People team requests
- Maintain logs of recurring reports, owners, and delivery cadence
- Analyze People team metrics including attrition and headcount trends
- Maintain People Analytics dashboards in Streamlit in Snowflake
- Develop advanced dashboards under guidance from People Analytics and DSEA teams
- Use approved AI tools such as Claude for queries, documentation, and summarizing findings
- Explore AI capabilities in Snowflake and the broader People technology stack
- Build automations and process improvements using AI tools
- Validate AI-generated output and follow AI use guidelines
- Prepare, combine, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources
- Follow people data privacy and security standards, including state and international compliance
- Identify, report, and track data discrepancies through resolution
- Share findings with technical and non-technical People team partners
- Identify reporting process improvements and support stakeholder understanding of data
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in an analytics role, ideally within a People team
- Proficiency with SQL and experience working in a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Streamlit, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Familiarity with team member lifecycle metrics such as headcount, attrition, hiring, internal mobility, and engagement
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential data with care and strong attention to detail
- Ability to define routine and non-routine data problems and explore solutions
- Clear, concise communication with non-technical audiences
- Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, proactive, and growth-minded
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Experience with Python, R, or similar (preferred)
- Working knowledge of basic statistical concepts (preferred)
- Experience with HR systems such as Oracle HCM/OTBI, Greenhouse, LMS, Qualtrics, and performance management platforms (preferred)
- Comfort using AI tools such as Claude (preferred)
- Familiarity with Git or version control (preferred)
