About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement pilot-facing features for autonomous drone operators
  • Build browser-platform features including live video, telemetry, maps, and flight controls
  • Ship production features with engineers, designers, and product managers
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and support to deliver high-quality customer features
  • Build a multi-cockpit view for opening several drone pilots at once
  • Implement camera controls such as click-to-focus and exposure locking on moving targets
  • Add map layers such as live flight-path breadcrumbs
  • Render AR bounds around subject tracks and enable users to instruct the drone to follow a vehicle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Junior, senior, or MS-level student
  • Meaningful project or internship experience developing modern web applications that connect to backend APIs and data systems
  • Solid software engineering foundation
  • Commitment to writing clean, well-architected code
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, WebGL/Three.js
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, services, and integrations for handling large datasets
  • Familiarity with robotics software development concepts is a bonus
  • FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged and required for certain positions
  • For positions located in the United States, employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify
