About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and drive all aspects of implementation and delivery for Law Enforcement customers
  • Serve as Skydio’s Law Enforcement customer liaison with the New Jersey Department of Corrections
  • Manage project planning, technical execution, risk management, problem solving, budget, performance improvements, and scheduling
  • Learn and rapidly apply technical concepts
  • Analyze program dependencies and manage technical and program risks
  • Use technical capability and program management skills to deliver optimal customer outcomes
  • Provide input into technical activities across the company
  • Plan and design end-to-end project deployment and integration activities
  • Manage production and implementation programs against cost, schedule, and technical requirements
  • Translate customer requirements to agile product and technical teams
  • Build and drive plans with Skydio’s engineering team to meet milestones
  • Inform company and customer business and program leaders about contract-management risks and opportunities
  • Support go-to-market and business activities as required
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Support, Product, Marketing, Development, and Engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • New Jersey residency is a firm requirement
  • Experience as a customer-facing professional services / program manager, or in a similar high-tier complex and multifaceted role, preferably for law enforcement agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with senior leaders
  • Strong focus on project management tools and concepts
  • Proven track record implementing new technology and agile development
  • Experience interfacing with technical teams to deliver on customer schedules
  • Experience implementing internal business systems, processes and controls for large-scale customer projects in the Law Enforcement field
  • Experience with Law Enforcement and commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related software development
  • Law Enforcement/Federal Program Management experience, including Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning
  • Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in data analytics and resolving complex problems independently
  • FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days is strongly encouraged and required for certain positions
  • For U.S. positions, employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify
