About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support global Accounts Payable operations, focusing on Ramp transaction processing, vendor invoice handling, and first-line reconciliations
Process and code Ramp transactions, validate coding accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and flag exceptions to the AP lead
Enter and pre-code vendor invoices into NetSuite with correct subsidiary, vendor, and tax treatment
Manage spend requests and purchase orders in Ramp and provide guidance on established procedures
Maintain vendor master data, including creation, updates, banking details, and basic KYC documentation tracking
Verify bank-detail changes via call-back to a known contact and check for duplicate vendors
Prepare AP aging reports and support payment run preparation
Support bank reconciliations by matching AP payments and card spend to bank lines
Support month-end close, including AP accruals, vendor statement reconciliations, and AP cut-off
Support AP-related audit requests
Collaborate with the AP team and Treasury on timely and accurate payment cycles
Independently research and resolve discrepancies, unfamiliar transactions, and other AP-related issues, escalating when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–6 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a multinational or shared-services environment
Experience with card programs (e.g., Ramp or similar spend platforms) is a plus
Hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Self-starter who takes ownership, investigates issues to resolution, and escalates appropriately
Comfortable working with teams in US/EU time zones on a mostly async basis, with occasional overlap calls mostly during onboarding
Hands-on experience with NetSuite AP (vendor bills, payments) or T&E modules is a bonus
Experience with multi-currency transactions, VAT, or international tax regulations, especially those related to US/EU entities is a bonus
Strong proficiency in advanced Excel functions or BI tools for in-depth AP reporting, trend spotting, and process improvement analysis is a bonus
