About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Find, build, and grow channel partnerships that bring new customers to Sleek
  • Identify and approach high-potential channel partners across Australia
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners
  • Develop relationships across fintech, SaaS, eCommerce, accounting, SME, and technology ecosystems
  • Own partner relationships from initial outreach through onboarding and ongoing growth
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer referrals and conversions
  • Build scalable partnerships rather than one-off referral arrangements
  • Lead commercial conversations and negotiate mutually beneficial partnership terms
  • Communicate Sleek’s value proposition and handle objections
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to activate new partners
  • Ensure partners understand Sleek’s offering, target customers, and lead-generation process
  • Monitor channel performance, customer acquisition, and ROI
  • Participate in screening, technical/case-study, final, and reference-check stages

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of hunter-profile experience in SMB business development, corporate sales, or outbound partnerships within a fast-paced Fintech, SaaS, or tech startup environment
  • Proven track record of quota carrying or consistently hitting aggressive targets for net-new partner acquisition and revenue generation
  • Deep acquisition-based experience unlocking SMB or mid-market customer segments through channels, alliances, and indirect distribution models
  • Active, established rolodex of contacts across Australia’s SME hubs, accelerators, local Fintech circles, and eCommerce networks
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pitching complex value propositions, handling objections, and closing deals autonomously
  • Pre-existing network extending across the wider ANZ region highly preferred
  • Sydney-based availability with 3–4 days per week in the Sydney office
  • Consent to required background checks, potentially covering education, criminal history, political exposure, bankruptcy, and adverse credit history
