About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Manager, Product
- Liaise between vendors and internal teams to ensure product information is accurate, tracked, and updated efficiently
- Support product launches by coordinating sampling, channel setup, launch, and post-launch updates
- Coordinate pre-launch product details including SKU information, dimensions, weights, materials, and packaging with external vendors
- Track post-launch product changes, including packaging updates, specification changes, variant additions, and product page updates
- Maintain product information in internal trackers, product databases, and shared documents
- Support SKU creation and updates, product attributes, variant details, product specifications, and packaging information
- Perform quarterly audits of product source-of-truth data and communicate with vendors to collect missing details
- Onboard new vendors and document business information for Finance, Supply Chain, and Product teams
- Review product performance data, including returns and warranty claims, and assist with vendor credit chargebacks
- Monitor vendor and product testing/audit reports for validity and currency
- Coordinate third-party quality control inspections and factory audits with the Product team to ensure compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years experience in product management, product development, sourcing, merchandising, or a related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field
- Previous experience with Shopify is considered an asset
- Experience in consumer products, including furniture, home goods, and bedding, within a retail and/or eCommerce environment is an asset
- Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple timelines, tasks, and stakeholders at the same time
- Resourceful, proactive, and a true team player
