About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide professional, courteous, and value-focused service
  • Perform reactive 24-hour equipment troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and resolution
  • Perform timely repair, installation, and removal of commercial restaurant equipment
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and cleaning
  • Order and schedule delivery of repair parts and maintain inventory
  • Accurately record and complete work orders and maintain documentation
  • Interact effectively with internal dispatch, management, warehouse, and technician teams
  • Maintain a professional and clean appearance
  • Keep the service vehicle clean and neat

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates with an aptitude in technical trades preferred
  • Background in field service or restaurant equipment preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
  • Knowledge of basic electricity, including amperage, voltage, and resistance
  • Ability to read basic equipment schematics
  • Ability to understand, read, and utilize a multimeter
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Familiarity with basic tools and multimeter
  • Basic understanding and skill set of MS Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency in responsiveness
  • Ability to adapt to workplace environment and organizational change
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual, with good attendance
  • Conscientious about product performance
  • Able to lift and move heavy restaurant equipment when needed
