About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support end users and hardware across all regions to ensure reliable access to systems and services
  • Manage and maintain IT resources in accordance with Smart policies and procedures
  • Collaborate within the immediate team, wider IT and Cyber team, and other departments
  • Support and maintain systems, services and processes within prescribed standards, policies and compliance frameworks
  • Communicate issues, incidents and problems affecting systems, services and processes across the technology stack
  • Implement and maintain documentation, registers, CMDB artefacts and resource records
  • Facilitate and participate in knowledge-sharing activities
  • Promote continuous improvement
  • Participate in incident-management activities
  • Ensure devices comply with Smart policies, configuration policies and standards including CIS Benchmarks and ISO27001
  • Ensure authorised access is granted and maintained
  • Manage user and device lifecycle processes
  • Perform other activities as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working knowledge of administering productivity and collaboration platforms, including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
  • Working knowledge of managing users, credentials and access assignment within Identity and Access Management platforms
  • Practical working knowledge of Mobile Device Management platforms, including Intune
  • High proficiency with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android operating systems
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot issues for users and devices within EDR, web proxy, and traffic management and inspection tooling
  • Practical experience configuring TCP/IP networking and VLANs in WAN/LAN environments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions pragmatically and quickly
  • Ability to identify issues, implement workarounds and find solutions in IT environments
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Commitment to teamwork and supporting colleagues
