About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business leaders and technical teams at strategic customers to scope high-value AI use cases and align on success metrics
Identify where AI workflows can deliver ROI, efficiency, and competitive advantage, and build the business case with the account team
Design, build, and deploy custom AI solutions and agents from scratch
Work with structured and unstructured customer data, including vector databases, MCP, and RAG
Build agents combining semantic and keyword search across customer knowledge bases and content
Own customer engagements end to end, from ideation through delivery, adoption, and measurable business outcomes
Collaborate in a customer pod with Strategic Account Executives, Technical Account Managers, and Forward Deployed Engineers
Train and empower customer teams to use and iterate on AI workflows
Drive onboarding and change management
Surface customer needs, patterns, and insights to inform Smartcat’s product roadmap
Contribute playbooks, reusable solution patterns, and case studies
Learn Smartcat’s platform, AI agent capabilities, customer workflows, and AI tooling
Document use cases, approaches, and expected business impact
Run customer enablement or training and support adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in a customer-facing AI, solutions, consulting, or technical role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments
Track record of building AI-powered workflows, agents, or automations that solved real business problems
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Cline, or similar, used as the default way to build, test, and solve problems
Hands-on experience building with Python
Familiarity with vector databases, MCP, RAG, and agent design
Comfort with the command line, basic Linux administration, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS/GCP
Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable AI solutions and drive projects end to end
Ability to engage technical stakeholders and senior executives and translate between them
Experience delivering solutions in complex enterprise organizations and fast-moving startup environments
Experience with change management and customer enablement
Flexibility to travel for customer engagements
SQL or data analysis is a plus
Leading cross-functional initiatives or teams is a nice to have
