About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver structured business support tasks and manage workflows for a key global tech client account
  • Collaborate within SmartPA’s client-facing Centre of Excellence on end-to-end business assignments
  • Prioritise and organise workloads across multiple tasks and workstreams
  • Track progress against SLAs and KPIs using digital tools
  • Maintain accurate documentation and quality standards
  • Manage complex, unstructured research datasets while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and standardisation
  • Process, clean, and validate raw data using spreadsheets and digital tools
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and internal knowledge bases using Google Workspace, Microsites, and Notebook LM
  • Translate raw data into clear, visually compelling, actionable insights
  • Ensure reports, dashboards, and content updates follow brand guidelines and visual standards
  • Maintain communication assets, reporting templates, and data definitions
  • Develop and document standardised processes, standards, and best practices for content and data lifecycles
  • Provide stakeholders with updates on project progress, outputs, and dashboard findings
  • Understand reporting needs, communication requirements, and KPIs
  • Communicate complex ideas and technical data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support issue resolution, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in administration, business operations, data entry, content management, or operational support roles
  • Spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets), including functions, data validation, and pivot tables
  • Expert proficiency in at least one major data visualisation tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio)
  • Ability to showcase high-quality dashboards or reports demonstrating analytical clarity and visual standards during the interview stage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Confidence working with multiple systems, software, and platforms in a tech-enabled environment
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and experience querying data using SQL is advantageous
  • Experience working with CMS or CRM platforms is advantageous
  • Experience with advanced dashboard functionality such as calculated fields, complex filters, and parameters is advantageous
  • Familiarity with data governance, version control, or structured documentation best practices is advantageous
  • Experience in a fast-paced, KPI/SLA-driven environment is advantageous
  • Relevant qualification, formal training, or certification in Data Science, Statistics, Communications, or a related field is advantageous
  • Experience in administrative, operational, or service delivery roles
  • Comfortable and experienced working an afternoon/evening shift pattern to support international time zones
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Keen eye for formatting consistency and strong attention to detail
  • Passion for making data accessible and understandable to non-technical users
