About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day execution of assigned projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Organize scope documents, contract files, submittals, and execution plans
  • Prepare, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and action-item logs
  • Read and navigate contract documents, drawings, and technical documentation with PM guidance
  • Flag issues, open questions, and potential constraints to the supervising Project Manager
  • Track labor, material, and subcontractor costs against project budgets
  • Maintain cost logs, purchase order records, and forecasting spreadsheets
  • Support change order documentation and backup materials for PM and client review
  • Update project schedules and milestone trackers
  • Monitor progress against schedule and compile status inputs from field and internal teams
  • Prepare weekly status reports, dashboards, and lookahead summaries
  • Attend project meetings with clients, GCs, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Capture and distribute meeting minutes and action items
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
  • Communicate with internal team members and, as appropriate, external stakeholders
  • Participate in onboarding, mentorship check-ins, and training on company tools and standards
  • Complete an end-of-term project or presentation summarizing work performed and lessons learned
  • Complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time and on budget
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing an accredited Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; recent graduates within 6 months may be considered
  • Rising junior or senior preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and ask questions proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in construction, mission-critical infrastructure, data centers, or building automation / controls
  • Active enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Coursework in project management, construction, engineering, or scheduling is a plus
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working on a computer
  • Ability to move through offices, job sites, and warehouse environments as needed
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred
  • Any air travel requires REAL ID–compliant identification or a passport
