About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze business results and track key financial targets
Learn the business, question company performance, and identify threats and opportunities
Provide daily financial direction to business line managers and channel management
Evaluate financial and business data to provide accurate, timely sales-performance information
Analyze key performance indicators, highlight trends, and investigate unexpected variances
Perform competitor and industry analysis
Review RFPs to validate revenue rates, cost assumptions, and projected margins
Support weekly and monthly financial reporting and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Use business intelligence tools and implement dashboard reporting
Monitor daily sales against targets, update cost-trend reports, and analyze results against the business forecast
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts
Improve and streamline the organization’s planning process
Design concise reports presenting actual and budget data for management decision-making
Perform special requests and participate in projects and presentations
Complete function-specific rotations lasting 18 to 24 months
Assist with problem-solving, assume leadership roles on projects, and help departments achieve short- and long-term objectives
Deliver high-level results that exceed expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or related field; or currently enrolled college student with an anticipated graduation by end of current semester
Knowledge of financial and business principles
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to self-manage time from remote locations
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
High standards of accuracy
Travel up to 15-25% of the time, including periodic overnight travel
Currently authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Business Warehouse experience
Product costing experience
Experience using SAP
Strong presentation skills
May be required to work long hours and weekends
Ability to work in plant environments involving wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, and loud production-area noise
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
Frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear
