Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing ocean import operations, including shipment tracking, document control, and relationship management with ocean carriers and freight forwarders
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage performance, promote professional development, and foster a collaborative environment
  • Strong planning, KPI analysis, negotiation, and results-oriented decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in the field is preferred
  • Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for communication with international partners and reading technical documents
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, logistics management systems, and shipment tracking platforms
  • Organized profile, strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, focus on continuous improvement, and ethical conduct
  • Knowledge of CargoWise is a plus
  • Completed or ongoing higher education in International Trade, International Relations, and/or related fields
  • Intermediate English proficiency preferred
