About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define Snorkel’s long-term expert acquisition strategy
- Own end-to-end supply growth strategy, translating demand into acquisition targets and remaining accountable through activation and first accepted work
- Lead the channel portfolio across paid acquisition, recruiting, referrals, community, organic growth, industry and higher-education partnerships, BPO and staffing partners, and new levers
- Design and own the expert referral program, including incentives, operating model, and performance measures
- Set and manage CAC targets, attribution, test budgets, success thresholds, and channel investment decisions
- Develop repeatable partnerships with professional associations, industry groups, colleges, graduate programs, research labs, and other institutions
- Source, onboard, manage, expand, or exit BPO and staffing partners; shape commercial models with Finance and Legal
- Define and operate the growth scorecard covering cost per activated expert, activation speed, domain match, quality, retention, availability, and channel return
- Improve the acquisition funnel from sourcing through qualification, onboarding, activation, and first accepted work in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Diagnose performance, identify root causes, size opportunities, make trade-offs, and adjust initiatives based on results
- Build playbooks, operating cadence, forecasting inputs, partner-management routines, and the team required to scale across domains and geographies
- Hire, coach, and lead the people running each growth lever
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in growth, marketplace or talent supply, workforce acquisition, partnerships, recruiting, or operations
- 5+ years leading teams
- Experience scaling the supply side of a marketplace, talent network, staffing platform, professional-services business, or similar model
- Experience leading a multi-channel growth portfolio across paid acquisition, recruiting, partnerships, referrals, community, and external vendors
- Strong analytical and experimental judgment, including funnel definition, attribution, channel economics, test thresholds, and investment decisions
- Experience building and managing strategic partnerships with professional associations, universities, research institutions, staffing firms, BPOs, or other workforce partners
- Strong general-management instincts connecting acquisition decisions to revenue delivery, quality, speed, cost, and risk
- Excellent cross-functional and executive communication
- High ownership in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Ability to use AI tools for research, analysis, experimentation, content, and operating workflows
- Bonus: Experience with AI training data, model evaluation, expert networks, or technology-enabled services
