About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Present Snowflake's technology, vision, and roadmap to technical contributors and business executives
- Connect technical solutions to business outcomes
- Work with prospects and customers across the sales cycle
- Deliver tailored demos and proofs of concept
- Contribute to solution design and implementation
- Demonstrate Snowflake's business value at every stage
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and develop technical champions
- Maintain current knowledge of Snowflake's platform, industry trends, and competing or complementary technologies
- Use hands-on labs, demos, and learning resources to maintain technical skills
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering
- Share field feedback to improve Snowflake's products and messaging
- Work with technology and implementation partners on joint architectures, account strategies, and customer-success initiatives
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events
- Learn through mentorship, on-the-job learning, and team feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some experience in a technical role, such as solution engineering, solutions architecture, or software development
- Experience preferably in SaaS, data analytics, or cloud technology
- Basic familiarity with SQL and/or Python, or a strong willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both written and verbal
- Passion for solving problems and eagerness to grow technical and business skills
- Desire to understand customer challenges and deliver meaningful solutions
- Collaborative approach to working with peers, partners, and customers
- Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, or BigQuery
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD tooling, Spark, containers, DevOps tools, orchestration tools, or Git
- Preferred: understanding of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Preferred: familiarity with data science, machine learning workflows, or governance tools
