About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive new service opportunities related to migrating customer workloads to Snowflake
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to improve migration services and delivery
  • Ensure customer applications are successfully migrated, optimized for Snowflake, and scaled to business needs
  • Develop migration service strategies for customers
  • Capture and report key migration metrics
  • Identify upsell opportunities related to migrations and Snowflake adoption
  • Serve as the client’s trusted migration advisor
  • Manage migrations across assessment, planning, execution, and optimization
  • Provide delivery quality oversight and guidance for migration engagements
  • Create, implement, and track client relationship roadmaps
  • Manage migration projects and communicate status, issues, risks, goals, and objectives through documentation, meetings, and follow-ups
  • Develop migration best practices, methodologies, and training materials
  • Integrate migration knowledge into configuration tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Scope migration projects, estimate work, create delivery proposals, and provide delivery updates
  • Collaborate with customers, migration-focused system integrators, and technology vendors
  • Resolve customer-specific migration challenges and own escalations
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve migration tools and offerings
  • Identify process improvements in client environments and Snowflake’s migration process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in a Services Delivery role or similar capacity
  • Experience with complex, technical implementation projects, especially data warehouse, database, or application migrations
  • Track record of delivering on Professional Services revenue targets
  • Ability to prioritize multiple complex migration projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Direct experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and/or Cloud, specifically migrations
  • Ability to communicate and translate effectively across design, engineering, marketing, advertising, and business development groups
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate migration strategies and benefits to business and technical audiences, including senior executives at large enterprises
  • Experience in a client support and advisory technical role with migration expertise is a bonus
  • Deep understanding of database technologies, ETL processes, and data modeling is a bonus
  • Experience with migration assessment tools and methodologies is a bonus
