About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide hands-on AI expertise and support to technical decision makers and data scientists
Design and architect AI solutions built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud
Serve as the technical expert positioning Snowflake’s AI and ML features and value to customer technical stakeholders across the Americas
Partner with Snowflake account teams and customer champions to scope and drive proofs of concept to successful technical wins
Deliver executive readouts and business value cases
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence AI and ML roadmaps based on customer feedback
Publish scalable content such as blog posts, conference presentations, notebooks, and demos
Influence, tailor, and maintain Sales Engineering AI and ML selling assets, including customer presentations, demonstrations, and customer stories
Work with cross-functional teams and the broader field organization to support successful execution and customer adoption of Snowflake AI and ML solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud
Familiarity with generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning
Knowledge of operationalizing enterprise AI use cases such as interactive chat applications and text processing
Deep knowledge of Python and common ML packages including LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch
Knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies including dbt, Airflow, and Spark
Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
Working knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source packages
Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP
1+ years of practical Snowflake experience
Knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology such as Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum
