About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features and platform infrastructure for Snowflake user-facing product journeys
  • Build React and TypeScript frontend experiences, including onboarding flows, contextual prompts, and interactive UI components
  • Drive product-led growth initiatives with product managers and data scientists
  • Build contextual experiences for Cortex Code, including intelligent prompts, starter workflows, and workspace integrations
  • Drive product experimentation from hypothesis formation and test design through implementation and performance analysis
  • Translate user journeys and engagement signals into scalable system capabilities
  • Analyze behavioral data and platform telemetry to evaluate experiments and feature adoption
  • Build and scale backend services for trial activation, onboarding, account provisioning, learning environments, and anti-abuse safeguards
  • Debug and resolve production issues across distributed services, relational databases, and platform infrastructure
  • Own the full development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, data science, and cross-functional teams
  • Contribute through code reviews, technical design discussions, mentoring, and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed or user-facing systems in production environments, across frontend and backend
  • Experience with TypeScript and React
  • Experience building backend services in Go, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js
  • Strong product sense and interest in product-led growth, user onboarding, and feature adoption mechanics
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, or feature-flagging workflows
  • Experience querying analytical data stores using SQL and interpreting product telemetry and metrics
  • Experience with distributed systems, REST/gRPC APIs, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, or data platforms
  • Strong coding and debugging skills across complex full-stack architectures
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
  • Authorization to work in the country to which the candidate is applying
  • In-office attendance is an essential function; candidates must reside within commuting distance or be open to relocation to the designated Snowflake office
