Key responsibilities & impact

Build and iterate on financial models tracking revenue and cost drivers
Forecast and provide real-time visibility into workload contribution margins
Analyze historical and forward-looking revenue, COGS, and margin trends
Provide recommendations influencing pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers, and Sales on product features and market opportunities
Support business case development with data-driven revenue and profitability insights
Navigate complex data schemas and tables using SQL to uncover business drivers
Leverage Snowflake Intelligence and AISQL to automate reporting and accelerate insight discovery
Build automated dashboards for Product and Finance leaders
Identify infrastructure-spend abnormalities and recommend ways to reduce COGS/OpEx and improve cost efficiency
Collaborate with executives and communicate complex technical or financial concepts clearly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field
2–5 years of experience in Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting
Experience in SaaS, Cloud, Data, or Fintech environments is strongly preferred
Proven ability to build financial models and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
Ability to navigate technical systems and complex data structures
SQL proficiency is preferred; ability to quickly become proficient in schemas and data logic
Experience with financial modeling tools and BI platforms is a plus
Experience analyzing revenue, COGS, and margin trends
Familiarity with Salesforce or other GTM systems is highly beneficial
Ability to work through ambiguity, take initiative, anticipate next steps, coordinate with stakeholders, and push projects forward
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences
Comfortable presenting to VP/C-level leadership
Ability to follow company confidentiality and security standards and protect customer information
