Key responsibilities & impact

Recruit, interview, and hire coaches
Train and onboard new coaches
Provide ongoing coach development
Observe and evaluate coaches in the field
Maintain standards for safety, energy, professionalism, and program quality
Manage coaching equipment and supplies
Build a culture where coaches want to stay and grow
Visit locations and observe sessions
Support coaches and interact with families and partners
Solve program problems and ensure delivery of the Soccer Shots experience
Identify and develop new Soccer Shots locations throughout Brevard County
Build relationships with decision-makers
Develop new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships
Drive enrollment, retention, and long-term territory growth
Serve as the local face of Soccer Shots
Answer questions and help parents, coaches, school directors, and partners solve problems

What you’ll need

Soccer experience is helpful, but not required
Experience in leadership, youth programs, education, childcare, sales, management, or coaching is a plus
Reliable transportation required
Ability to travel throughout Brevard County required
Availability for some mornings, evenings, and weekends based on programming needs
Must successfully complete all required background checks
Leadership, people-development, organization, accountability, and growth-oriented qualities
Comfortable working with children, parents, coaches, school directors, and community partners
