About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver accurate, timely voyage performance reports, including charter party and good-weather analysis
- Own final quality checks for customer-facing time charter and voyage performance reports
- Validate voyage details, source data, assumptions, and operational constraints
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve them with customers and internal teams
- Translate charter party terms and good-weather definitions into reporting criteria
- Partner with technical teams to develop tailored performance analyses using Sofar’s digital twin and weather data
- Prepare evidence-based claim summaries using voyage performance analysis, weather assessments, and relevant case references
- Collect supporting evidence from customers and explain findings, assumptions, and limitations
- Contribute expertise on EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, and CII to reporting requirements
- Identify reporting bottlenecks and partner with technical teams on features and automation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in maritime shipping analysis, voyage performance reporting, or a closely related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality, assumptions, and detail
- Expertise in charter party performance clauses, speed and consumption analysis and good weather definitions
- Interest in learning and using tools such as LLMs, Retool, Snowflake, and Notion
- Ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones
- Candidates must be located in an eligible location: Philippines, Singapore, Denmark, Bulgaria, or India
