About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Design and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query
- Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, ERP systems, JSON, data lakes, and APIs
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET, C#, and/or VB.NET
- Create and integrate APIs to facilitate communication between applications and systems
- Optimize SQL queries and improve data model performance
- Contribute to the evolution of Business Intelligence solutions and new predictive analytics capabilities
- Document developments and collaborate with technical and functional teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience developing Business Intelligence and software solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
- Strong experience in data modeling and advanced report design
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization
- Experience in backend development with .NET (C# and/or VB.NET)
- Experience developing, consuming, and integrating APIs
- Experience integrating Power BI with databases, ERP systems, and various data sources
- Experience working on projects that combine Power BI and .NET backend development
- Technical, technological, or professional education in software development or a related field
- Microsoft Azure, Synapse, Fabric, or Databricks (preferred)
- Machine Learning and predictive analytics (preferred)
- Agile methodologies such as Scrum (preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Sage (preferred)
- Intermediate English proficiency (not a strict requirement)
