About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a software engineering team comprising Developers and Tech Leads
Define the team’s objectives and priorities
Collaborate with the manager, architects, and Tech Leads to define software and systems architectures
Oversee software and platform development and maintenance with the Tech Leads
Ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met
Establish and continuously improve the SDLC within the tribe alongside other Engineering Managers and Tech Leads
Monitor team performance and implement necessary improvements
Manage the team’s human resources
Comply with applicable regulatory requirements in the eHealth sector, including ISO standards, CE marking, cybersecurity compliance, and HDS certification
Ensure communication and collaboration with the Product and Cloud Infrastructure teams
Promote a DevSecOps culture and integrate automation and risk management into the software lifecycle
Foster and promote the Tech culture within and outside the Softway Medical Group
Identify and monitor projects eligible for the Research Tax Credit
Provide regular reports on performance and technical progress to improve the efficiency and profitability of Engineering and Cloud investments

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least five years of experience in a software engineering leadership role involving Developers, Tech Leads, Architects, and DevOps teams
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to define a clear vision and translate it into a concrete strategy
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
Experience working in a scaled Agile environment
Proficiency with Cloud and on-premises products and technologies
Experience working with an Engineering Director and a Product team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, security, DevOps, and software development
Experience using agentic AI at scale across the SDLC and PDLC, such as an AI Factory
Proficiency in product lifecycle management tools and methodologies
Fluent French
Fluent English
