About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of Engineering solutions for strategic clients in the construction, infrastructure and land development sectors
  • Promote and sell Engineering solutions to the regional management teams, branches and local entities of strategic accounts
  • Identify customer needs and understand their technical, organisational and operational challenges
  • Grow revenue through new business acquisition, upselling, cross-selling and migration
  • Identify new growth opportunities within customer organisations
  • Support customers with their transformation and technology adoption projects
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders across the customer portfolio
  • Understand the practices, processes and challenges of design offices, technical departments and operational teams
  • Advise customers on the selection and deployment of appropriate solutions
  • Contribute to user adoption and value creation around the solutions sold
  • Translate the strategy defined with the Key Account Managers into operational action plans
  • Enrich account plans with information gathered from the field
  • Participate in account reviews and track sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product, Delivery, Customer Success and Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Commercial or technical education
  • Proven experience in B2B business development, ideally in a software, technology or engineering-related environment
  • Ability to operate in complex environments and build long-term relationships with business, technical and decision-making stakeholders
  • Experience developing strategic accounts or deploying national framework agreements
  • Strong business development orientation and enthusiasm for new business acquisition, upselling and cross-selling
  • Interest in the engineering, construction, surveying, geomatics or infrastructure sectors
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop action plans tailored to local business needs
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
  • Results-oriented mindset combined with a consultative approach and commitment to customer success
  • Self-motivated, curious and business-oriented
  • Ability to understand customers’ technical challenges in order to develop appropriate, sustainable solutions
