About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work within the Delivery team on projects involving the deployment of software solutions
Adapt and configure applications to meet specific customer requirements
Perform advanced application configuration
Configure business rules, workflows, processes, and interfaces
Primarily develop automation scripts for processes and workflows in Groovy
Ensure the consistency and quality of configurations
Design and develop custom adaptations, primarily in Java
Produce robust, maintainable, and well-documented code
Perform unit testing and contribute to the quality of deliverables
Analyze the functional and technical requirements of projects
Participate in testing and acceptance phases and support subsequent adjustments
Fix identified defects
Provide technical support through to production deployment
Collaborate with Delivery, Product, and functional consulting teams
Document developments and promote their reuse
Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment tools, methods, and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education degree in computer science or a related field, equivalent to a Bachelor's to Master's degree
Initial experience in software development, solution integration, or delivery of technical projects
Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming concepts
Knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, and REST APIs
Interest in advanced configuration, solution integration, and automation
Initial experience in an IT services company, software vendor, or systems integrator
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Comfortable communicating with functional and business stakeholders
Good understanding of software quality and maintenance challenges
Curiosity about complex technical environments and new technologies
Knowledge of mapping, GIS, or infrastructure is a plus
