About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on projects deploying software solutions, adapting and configuring applications to meet clients’ specific needs
  • Perform advanced application configuration
  • Configure business rules, workflows, processes, and interfaces
  • Primarily develop automation scripts for processes and workflows in Groovy
  • Design and develop client-specific adaptations in Java
  • Produce robust, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Perform unit testing and contribute to the quality of deliverables
  • Analyze the functional and technical requirements of projects
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and support subsequent adjustments
  • Fix identified defects
  • Provide technical support through to production deployment
  • Collaborate with Delivery teams, Product teams, project managers, and functional consultants
  • Document development work, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment tools, methods, and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education degree in computer science (three- to five-year degree), ideally from an engineering school or equivalent program
  • Proven experience in software development, solution integration, or delivering technical projects
  • Strong command of Java and object-oriented programming concepts
  • Knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, and REST APIs
  • Interest in advanced configuration, solution integration, and automation
  • Initial experience at an IT services company, software vendor, or systems integrator
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Good understanding of software quality and maintenance challenges
  • Knowledge of cartography, GIS, or infrastructure is a plus
