About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the initial point of contact for prospective corporate clients across mid-market and enterprise segments

  • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and report to senior management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in business development within the remittance or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of achieving business objectives
  • Strong understanding of remittance market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and industry trends
  • Proven track record of building a pipeline and converting connections into new business
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to think strategically, analyse market trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email communication
  • Previous experience working in a FinTech/Start-Up environment
  • Payments/Remittance market business development or sales experience preferred but not essential
  • Proven ability to identify and generate new business opportunities resulting in increased revenue and growth
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Right to work in the jurisdiction where the candidate will work
