About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the strategic roadmap for Sokin’s banking connectivity across APAC
- Determine target markets, required capabilities, and infrastructure evolution
- Build business cases for market expansion using client demand, payment volumes, competition, and regulatory analysis
- Translate APAC payment requirements into technical and commercial requirements
- Define banking partnership requirements and collaborate on sourcing and evaluating partners
- Work with engineering to scope and prioritize banking integrations
- Own performance and optimization of APAC banking infrastructure
- Monitor transaction success rates, settlement times, and corridor costs
- Resolve technical issues and evaluate redundancy or alternative payment routes
- Track APAC payments landscape developments and incorporate trends into strategy
- Gather feedback from clients and sales teams
- Define and communicate product strategy and roadmap
- Conduct market research and identify customer needs and trends
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations, and other cross-functional teams
- Prioritize features based on customer value and business impact
- Support product launches and monitor product performance
- Drive continuous improvement using quantitative and qualitative insights
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience with banks, PSPs, and local payment rails across APAC
- Experience building B2B fintech products
- Ability to own a product roadmap and drive decisions independently
- Strong understanding of product details and supporting data
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work with engineers, designers, financial, risk, and legal stakeholders
- Technical depth sufficient to work closely with engineers
- Ability to design user-centric and compliant solutions
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and bring structure
- Knowledge of APAC payment needs, regulatory requirements, instant payment schemes, open banking regulations, and settlement mechanisms
