About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the full software engineering lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to refine feature requirements
Lead architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable solutions
Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes for feature reliability
Mentor and guide junior developers
Participate in code reviews focused on quality, security, and performance
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases
Optimize application performance and resolve complex technical issues
Monitor industry trends and advocate for beneficial emerging technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
Proven track record of end-to-end feature ownership and delivery in production environments
Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
Experience managing development and operational aspects of software, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proactive mindset for identifying improvements, optimizations, and innovations
Prior senior-role experience mentoring or guiding team members
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Right to work in the jurisdiction where the candidate will work
