About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Sokin's internal operations experience
- Define the support and operations console as a single place to view and act on client, payment and case status
- Own compliance and internal reporting, including evidence required by regulators, banking partners and auditors
- Own post-go-live transaction monitoring and continuous-monitoring alerts
- Own crypto compliance tooling for transaction and wallet screening, Travel Rule information exchange and wallet monitoring
- Build a client feedback management process and tool
- Conduct structured research with analysts, Support and Operations
- Define and track operational metrics such as alert-to-decision time, systems visited per case, manual work per exception, escalations and false positives
- Maintain Sokin's Jobs to Be Done catalogue for analysts, agents and operators
- Collaborate with Platform Services, Data and Core Platform teams on identity, permissions, approval rules, audit and shared data sources
- Initially work independently, with an expected future Product Manager hire as scope grows
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in product management
- Experience building internal, operations, compliance or back-office tooling, ideally in payments, banking or another regulated industry
- Understanding of transaction monitoring, sanctions and screening, case management, multi-jurisdictional regulatory reporting, and ideally crypto compliance and the Travel Rule
- Ability to design for expert users and conduct user research
- Analytical approach focused on analyst minutes, error rates and cases cleared
- Ability to work with compliance, risk, legal and operations stakeholders
- Ability to own a roadmap, identify problems, make decisions and drive progress independently
- Technical depth to work with engineers on integrations with third-party monitoring, screening and case platforms
- Curiosity about applying AI to routine case work under human oversight
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, drafting, analysis and prototyping while remaining accountable for results
- Right to work in the jurisdiction where the candidate will work
