About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the CPQ product backlog
  • Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria, functional detail, and edge-case handling
  • Lead sprint ceremonies with the offshore Salesforce development team
  • Serve as the scrum team's day-to-day point of decision and accept or reject completed stories
  • Manage release scope and readiness, including regression coverage, deployment planning, and post-release validation
  • Track and report sprint progress, velocity, and delivery risks
  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Salesforce CPQ
  • Document, analyze, and optimize Quote-to-Cash business processes
  • Design scalable CPQ solutions using configuration and platform capabilities
  • Partner with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and Finance to improve quoting and pricing governance
  • Assess downstream impacts across order management, e-commerce, provisioning, billing, and ERP
  • Contribute to the Quote-to-Cash roadmap and Salesforce Revenue Cloud rollout
  • Support production issue triage and root cause analysis
  • Monitor adoption and platform health
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and capture detailed requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional designs and high-level technical specifications
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, sequencing, and timelines
  • Build relationships across Sales, Channel, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance
  • Communicate delivery trade-offs and priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT business systems, business analysis, or product ownership roles supporting enterprise applications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick), Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA), and/or Apttus/Conga CPQ
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including the core data model, opportunity management, and declarative configuration
  • 2+ years serving as a Product Owner or equivalent in an agile/scrum delivery environment, including backlog and story ownership
  • Demonstrated experience delivering Quote-to-Cash or CPQ solutions in a multi-product, subscription, or channel-heavy environment
  • Experience working with offshore or distributed development teams across sprint cycles
  • Solid command of CPQ concepts: product rules, pricing models, discounting, approval matrices, quote document generation, and order creation
  • Strong requirements and documentation skills, including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a technical or business field required
  • Salesforce certifications preferred: CPQ Specialist, Administrator, and/or Sales Cloud Consultant
