About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build product features across the front end and back end for NG and SMRTR TRAC
Design and work with PostgreSQL data models and queries, plus some MongoDB, with attention to performance
Fix defects and improve product reliability
Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with ERP systems such as SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI and NCR
Contribute to AI document capture, including classification and data extraction, and the print-to-NG driver
Turn requirements from Professional Services, Sales and customers into working software
Estimate tasks and deliver to agreed dates
Support go-lives and troubleshoot production issues
Write tested, reviewed and secure code in a GitHub-based workflow with CI/CD
Write technical documentation and release notes
Use AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of professional software development experience
Production experience with Vue.js, TypeScript and Node.js
PostgreSQL: schema design, SQL and query performance
JVM experience, preferably Scala
Experience building REST APIs and integrating with third-party systems
Git-based workflows, code review and automated testing
Clear communication with colleagues and, when needed, customers
Authorized to work in the United States or Canada
Set up for remote work
Nice to have: MongoDB
Nice to have: Android or Xamarin
Nice to have: ERP integration experience (e.g., SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI, NCR)
Nice to have: Document management, OCR or AI document capture
