About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee a large paper account in Minnesota.
- Maintain regular communication with sales management regarding account activity.
- Complete weekly reporting and manage inventory.
- Perform on-site testing to verify the safety and effectiveness of treatment programs.
- Address customer issues and collaborate with sales and customer teams on corrective actions.
- Analyze data to evaluate program performance and drive continuous improvement decisions.
- Partner with plant/process owners to lead and implement process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Build customer relationships, deliver value-added industrial water treatment solutions, and drive business growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or other technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered, including 10+ years of relevant manufacturing or equipment experience.
- Documented sales success in the paper industry, with a strong background in the pulp and paper industry.
- Ability to solve complex and non-routine technical problems.
- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of industrial processes and customer operations, or ability to quickly learn industry-specific applications and technologies.
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of International Falls, MN.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call weekend rotation.
- Experience with laboratory testing, pumps, pipefitting, and electrical systems preferred.
