About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support merchandising and sales efforts to achieve regional budgetary goals
  • Implement sales strategies and drive revenue growth
  • Drive sales through additional off-shelf orders and placements, modular integrity, and planned features execution
  • Manage and minimize End of Season Returns
  • Develop relationships across customer retail outlets, including Wal-Mart stores
  • Provide daily market intelligence and competitive activity and retail pricing reports
  • Provide product knowledge and training for water testing systems at customer locations and hardware stores
  • Coordinate and attend sales promotional events, including some weekends
  • Complete end-of-season returns safely and within deadlines
  • Manage assigned store list and implement sales and service objectives
  • Complete administrative work and reports and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with Wal-Mart is highly desirable
  • Experience working on Microsoft platforms, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of how a pool works would be highly desirable
  • Travel will be required around 50%
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Comfortable driving on a very regular basis
  • Willingness to travel around Kentucky and potentially to other states
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional communication and conduct with key decision makers
  • Ability to work some weekends for promotional events
