About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a key refinery account in Texas and develop strong customer relationships through proactive, value-added technical service
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the account and prospect for new business using consultative selling techniques
  • Review and optimize cooling systems, boilers, and wastewater treatment programs and processes
  • Conduct routine monitoring, testing, and program adjustments
  • Oversee on-site inventory management, including chemical orders, deliveries, and stock levels
  • Maintain and grow revenue through strategic account management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead site priorities and projects to meet Solenis standards and customer expectations
  • Troubleshoot and maintain feed systems, dosing equipment, and utility systems in the field
  • Conduct business reviews, prepare and present technical reports, and lead customer meetings with data-driven insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in industrial water treatment sales
  • Strong knowledge of boiler, cooling, and/or wastewater systems
  • Demonstrated success managing large industrial or refinery accounts
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, life sciences, or a related technical field
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
