About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and drive growth of the Pool Solutions business unit across Southwest France and Northwest Spain
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market analysis
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
  • Track competitor activities and adjust sales strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and specialist pool dealers
  • Plan joint visits with key distributor sales teams according to company KPIs
  • Negotiate with retail-chain Store Managers to maintain listings and secure product placements
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
  • Ensure optimal in-store product presentation and handle stock/display positioning using manual transport equipment
  • Plan routes and schedules to maximise territory coverage and minimise travel costs
  • Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates
  • Use CRM tools to maintain customer records and track interactions
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations & Supply teams
  • Execute annual Trade Responsible Care safety training and compliance within the sales territory
  • Report accidents, incidents, or injuries within 12 hours to the relevant EHS manager and Senior Sales Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful field sales experience managing large geographical territories
  • Prior swimming pool sector experience highly valued
  • Direct experience working with distributors or specialist dealer channels highly valued
  • French: Native or fluent (Mandatory)
  • English: Professional working proficiency / fluent (Mandatory)
  • Spanish: Conversational to fluent (Highly desirable)
  • Must reside within the designated region, ideally in Southwest France or Northwest Spain
  • Valid driving licence and ability to operate a motor vehicle and drive for extended periods
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk significant distances during trade shows and customer visits
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 25 kg and operate manual transport equipment such as a pallet jack
  • Flexibility to attend events outside standard business hours, including early mornings and/or weekends
